Darrell Paul Robinson, 71, of Hurley, passed away on Monday, February 23, 2026, at St. Luke's Hospital in Duluth.

"Paul" was born on March 29, 1954, in Hurley to Sylvester R. and Janet M. (Sunie) Robinson. He was a graduate of Hurley High School. He worked as a manager for The Alley stores in Chicago, and later went on to work as a CNA in care facilities. Paul loved life and had a heart for helping people throughout his time in Chicago and Hurley. He truly never met a stranger and could strike up a conversation with anyone. He was blessed with an abundance of family and friends, and he loved to visit with them in person, online, and at bingo. He will be dearly missed by all who loved him.

He is survived by his daughter, Lisa Locke, his son, Paul (Aanon Lin) Robinson, his grandchildren, Evan and Isabelle Locke, and his pets, Gino and Jack.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his older brother Randy, his great-nephew Spencer, and his nephew Joey.

Following Paul's wishes, no formal services are taking place.
