Dale Robert Koehmstedt, Jr., 38, of Ironwood, passed away surrounded by his loved ones on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at Essentia Health St. Mary's Hospital in Duluth.

Dale was born the son of Dale Koehmstedt, Sr., and Lisa Lotzer on January 19, 1987, in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. He was a graduate of A.D. Johnson High School in Bessemer. Dale enjoyed playing video games, collecting knives, and spending time with his family.

He will be deeply missed by his mother and stepfather, Lisa and Christopher Sowinski; his brother, Travis Lotzer; his two sisters, April Lotzer and Katie Lotzer; his significant other, Megan Anderson; as well as aunts, uncles, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Following Dale's wishes, cremation has taken place, and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
