Chad Michael Guyer Hall, 27, of
105 Wisconsin Ave., Montreal, died unexpectedly Saturday, Feb. 27, 2010, in
Hayward. He was born Aug. 24, 1982, in Coon Rapids,
Minn., the son of William Hall and Gretchen (Hofmeister) Guyer, and
attended Northfield, Minn. schools. Chad came to Hurley in 2001, where he
bartended at the Iron Horse Saloon and was employed in the vending department at
Northstar Beverage. He enjoyed all sports, especially golfing and playing
basketball with friends, and was an avid Minnesota Twins, Vikings and Gophers
fan. He loved playing foosball and cooking. On May 18, 2007, he married the former Heather
Jo Vukelich in Lake Tahoe, Calif. She survives. Also surviving are four sons, Carter John,
twins Wyatt Michael and Ty James, and Liam Marshall, all at home; his father and
stepmother, Bill and Carrie Hall, Hurley; mother and stepfather, Gretchen and
John Guyer, Burnsville, Minn.; paternal grandparents, Lorie and John Hall,
Corcoran, Minn., and Sam Guyer, Isle, Minn.; brothers, Bill Hall Jr. (Jessika
Nguyen), Burnsville, Joe Robinson (Lynn), Bessemer, Mich., and Jonathan Guyer,
Hopkins, Minn.; sisters, Tara (Mark) Frank, Farmington, Minn., Hope (Tom)
Marcon, LaCrosse, and Sarah Jo Robinson, Hurley; mother-in-law, Lisa Campbell,
and sister-in-law, Rhana "Muffin" Campbell, both of Hurley; and three nieces and
nephews, Ashley Frank, William John Hall III, and Jacob Frank. Visitation will take place Friday, March
5, from 1:30 to 3 p.m., at St. Mary's Church in Hurley, with funeral services
beginning at 3 p.m. The Rev. Wesley "Bo" Baumeister, pastor of Trinity Lutheran
Church in Ironwood, will officiate. Cremation will follow. A reception will be held at the Iron
Horse Saloon in downtown Hurley immediately following the service. Pallbearers will be Daniel Kalk, Jeff Elj, Dan
Moncher, Joe Robinson, Joel Hochstein and Andy Doda. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may
be made to Hurley Headstart, in care of Sandy Worzalla, P.O. Box 43, Hurley,
