Carol Ruth (Lundsrud) Holst, 95, of Manitowish Waters and previously of Ironwood, passed away on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at Wausau Manor Health Services.

Carol was born March 13, 1929, in Ironwood, Michigan the daughter of John and Elinor (Rundquist) Lundsrud. She graduated from Luther L. Wright High School in Ironwood in 1947 and attended Gogebic Community College. She worked for the Michigan Telephone in the business office.

Carol was married to John W. Holst in Ironwood, on June 25, 1949, at the Salem Lutheran Church. They moved to Hamburg, New York in 1950 where they lived until moving to Minnesota, living in Hotz Lakes until John's retirement in 1982 when they moved to Manitowish Waters and built their house on the lake.

No formal services are taking place for Carol. Interment will take place at Pine Lawn Cemetery in Manitowish Waters.
