Brenda Gail Vronch, 61, of Hurley, Wis., died unexpectedly Friday, Jan. 18, 2013, at Aspirus Grand View Hospital in Ironwood.       The former Brenda Dobson was born Nov. 13, 1951, in Truman, Ark., daughter of the late James and Ruth (Tilman) Dobson, and attended Jefferson High School in Rockford, Ill. She worked at the National Lock factory in Rockford and also as a waitress in Rockford for several years. An awesome country singer, Brenda sang in a band from the 1960s to the mid 1980s. She was everybody's mother hen and helped several elderly people in the Hurley area.      She married Michael Vronch on Oct. 14, 1995, in Las Vegas.      Brenda leaves behind her husband, Michael; daughter, Angela (Sonnie) Smith, Muscle Shoals, Ala.; son, Jason Crawford, El Dorado, Ill.; three stepdaughters, Christine (Jose) Orozco, Cherry Valley, Ill., and Dora Vronch and Michelle Vronch, both of Rockford; five grandchildren, Sonnie, Scott Jr., and Kayln Page Smith, Tyler Vronch, and Mahalia and Malik Vronch; a sister, Linda (Ray) Stroud, Rockford; brother, David (Jacki) Dobson, Janesville, Wis.; brother-in-law, James Vronch (Candice), Rockford; and sister-in-law, Judy Walsh, Rockton, Ill.       Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, James David and Kenneth Dobson; a sister, Shirley Webb; and father-and-mother-in-law, Ben and Olga Vronch. She leaves behind many loved aunts and uncles, and also many cherished friends and relatives in the Hurley and Ironwood area after moving here 41/2 years ago. She loved them all deeply. She will be dearly missed by all members of our combined families and live forever in our hearts.          Out of respect for Brenda's wishes, cremation has taken place.      A memorial service will be held Wednesday, Jan. 23, at 11 a.m., preceded by visitation at 10 a.m., at the McKevitt-Patrick Funeral Home, 305 N. Lowell St., in Ironwood, with the Rev. Jean B.
