Obituary

Angeline Ann Innis, 96, a former longtime Gurney resident, passed away Tuesday, Nov.12, 2013,  at Dorchester Golden Living Center in  Sturgeon Bay.        The former An geline Wyszynski was born Sept. 26, 1917, in Hurley, daughter of the late Anton and Josephine (Jaresky) Wyszynski. She lived in Highbridge and moved to Cedar as a young child.   Angeline graduated from Saxon High School in 1936 and lived and worked in Ashland before marrying Joseph Innis on October 12, 1940.   She and Joseph owned and operated a dairy and produce farm in Cedar for approximately 50 years.  She was a homemaker, an active member of the Gurney Woman's Club and St Ann's Guild, and for many years worked as a part-time bus driver transporting children from Cedar and Gurney to school  in Saxon. She enjoyed cooking, baking, embroidery, crocheting, traveling and spending quality time with family.       Angeline is survived by sons, Earl (Doris), Two Harbors, Minn., and Joseph (Peggy), Sturgeon Bay; daughters, Beverly (Ron) Theriault, Mechanic Falls, Maine, Mary (Bruce) Blandford, Valdez, Alaska, and Margaret VanderMeer, Brussels; a brother, William (Roswita) Wyszynski, Delafield; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and many nieces and nephews.       Preceding her in death besides her parents were her husband, Joseph, on Sept. 11, 1998; brothers, Anthony (Esther), Marion (Delpha), Joseph (Audrey), and Bernard (Virginia) Wyszynski; sisters, Helen (Mike) Pawlikowski and Mary Jane (Frank) Knittel; an infant grandson; and son-in-law, Eric VanderMeer.         A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, Nov. 23, at 11 a.m., preceded by visitation at 10 a.m., at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Saxon, with the Rev. Ed McKenzie OFM, celebrant.       Rite of Committal and interment will be in Lakeview Cemetery, Saxon.       A luncheon reception will be held at the Saxon Community Center.       Pallbearers will be Tim, Ken and Joe Innis, Troy and Ron Theriault, and Bruce Blandford.       The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St Ann's Service Club, 14322 N.
