Alan John Skelton's Obituary
IRONWOOD, MI- Alan John Skelton (70), was called home to be with our Lord on June 4th, 2022.
He was born on May 26th, 1952 in Minneapolis MN. He was the eldest son of Howard Reel Skelton jr. (deceased) and Alta Jane (Griese) Hummel (deceased). After earning a degree at Stout State University in Menomonie, WI, he went on to become a professor at the Gogebic Community College in Ironwood MI. He enjoyed the Great Outdoors, sailing, and spending time with his many friends and family.
He is survived by stepmother Amie Skelton (83) of Brackettville, Texas, sister Jean Nette Emily Johnson (66) of Parks, AZ, sister Debra Ann Bebb (64) of Chandler Az, brother Eric Thomas Skelton (58) of Monroe WI, and a niece and nephews. He is proceeded in death by his brother Thomas George Skelton.
Alan requested an intimate family gathering.
