Obituary

Agnes M Brody,99, entered into eternal life on Monday, December 28, 2020. She was born on August 17, 1921, to Stephen & Anna (Lajcak) Buchko in Ironwood and attended A.L. Norrie School and graduated from L.L. Wright High School. On January 3, 1941, she was united in marriage to Robert J Brody at Holy Trinity Catholic Church by the late Rev Carl Petronek. They celebrated their 50th anniversary on January 3, 1992. Aggie worked for the J.C. Penney Company for over 50 years. A devote Catholic – she lived & loved her faith. She was a member of Our Lady of Peace. She was talented in all homemaking skills: cooking, baking, sewing, crocheting, knitting, etc. Aggie is survived by her son, Robert W Brody (Sharon) of Pompano Beach, Florida; daughter, Kathleen 'Bunny' (George) Skoronski; four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; sister, Margaret Souther of Brevard, North Carolina; and nieces & nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, two brothers, two sisters, niece, nephew & other relatives. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at the Basilica of Holy Hill at a later date. Burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery.
