Obituary for Vivian E. Dishneau

Vivian E. Dishneau, 75, of
Bergland, died Friday, Oct. 7, 2011, in Ironwood.
     The former Vivian E. Benson was born July 20,
1936, in North Bend, Ore., daughter of the late Archibald and Faye (Pickett)
Benson, and graduated from high school in San Luis Obispo, Calif. in
1955.
     She was employed as a teacher's aide in the
Bergland School District for ten years, and was past secretary of the Bergland
Chamber of Commerce.
     Vivian was an excellent cook and avid reader,
and enjoyed going to the casino. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, and will be dearly missed by her family and
many friends.  
     On Feb. 16, 1957, she was married to Thomas H.
Dishneau at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Ewen. He survives.
     Also surviving are two sons, Michael "Tom"
(Becky) and Andy, both of Bergland; two daughters, Lori (Robert Beiersdorf)
Dishneau, Denver, Colo., and Angela (Vernon) Cochran, Palmyra, Neb.; ten
grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Joyce (Wayne) Tatti,
Fresno, Calif., and Bunny (Tom) Gee, Santa Maria, Calif.; and two nieces and two
nephews.
     Besides her parents, she was preceded in death
by a brother, Jim Benson.
     Out of respect for Vivian's wishes, cremation
has taken place.
     A celebration of her life will be held at a
later date.
