Tamara P. “Tami” Bukovic, 61, of Mercer, passed away on November 4, 2019, in Mercer, Wisconsin.
She was born September 11, 1958, in Milwaukee, daughter of Frederick and Sylvia (Warzynski) Layman. They moved to Muskego, and she graduated from Muskego High School in 1977.
Tami married Russell Bukovic on March 11, 1978 in Muskego. They moved to Florida and lived there for 40 years and then moved to Mercer.
She loved Sea World, Busch Gardens, Universal Studios, and Disney and loved going to the beach. However, she especially loved spending time with her family and granddaughter and celebrating family time at Christmas.
Tami worked at Simpson Electric in Mercer as an assembly worker for over two years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frederick and Sylvia Layman and her sister, Roxanne Layman.
Tami is survived by her husband, Russell; daughters, Nicole Castillo of Manitowish Waters and Chrissy (Josh) Fiorini of Fruitland Park, Florida; granddaughter, Cadence; and aunt, Ardith Nass.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Thursday, October 8, 2020, at St. Isaac Jogues Catholic Church in Mercer at 11 am with Fr. Maria Joseph as celebrant.
Rite of Committal and interment will take place at Mercer Cemetery following the Mass.
