Special Blessings to the caregivers and fellow residents of his Westgate family for providing Dad with an abundance of love and respect he so richly deserved.

A bible reading, I shared with Dad is from portions of Isaiah 55:

“Seek the Lord while he may be found, call on him while he is near. Let the wicked forsake his way and the evil man his thoughts. Let him turn to the Lord, and he will have mercy on him, and our God, for he will freely pardon. For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord. As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. As the rain and the snow come down from the heavens, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is my word that goes out from my mouth: it will not return to me empty but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it. You will go out on joy and be led forth in peace, the mountains and hills will burst into song before you, and all of the trees of the field will clap their hands.”

A private celebration of life will be held at a later date. Condolences may be sent to 332 South Marquette St, Ironwood, MI 49938.

The family has chosen McKevitt-Patrick Funeral Home of Ironwood to honor Robert’s legacy of life. You can leave a condolence or a tribute at mckevittpatrickfuneralhome.com.
