Obituary for Richard Francis Taylor
Richard F. Taylor, 85, of Hurley, WI, passed away on September 17, 2023.
He was born on December 9, 1937. Richard was a gentle, kind, loving husband and father who enjoyed conversations with family and friends.
Richard served in the Army and was a decorated marksman, but he enjoyed working as a chef during his time in the Army. After his military service, Richard had a successful career at J.L. Case, where he retired in 1989.
Following his retirement, he followed his heart and became a CNA.
Richard's passion was baking, specializing in cakes. He found joy in making cakes for his loved ones' special events.
He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Virginia Cristo, and sister Darla Yingling.
Richard is survived by his sons Fred (Jill)Taylor of Las Vegas and Brian (Anne) Taylor of Kenosha, daughter Liz (Chris) Bryant of Las Vegas, sister JoEllen Paschkewitz, 11 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
Services are to be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that contributions be made to a charity of your choice in Richard's memory.
