Obituary for Richard Ingvalson

Dick Ingvalson was born in St. Paul, MN on July 20, 1947. Preceded in death by his parents Maurice and Dorothy Ingvalson of St. Paul and his nephew. Survived by three daughters, Laura Mills (Stephen) Victoria, TX, Lisa Theut (Scott) Fulshear, TX, Kayla Kolberg Ashland, WI; 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Also survived by sister Lynn White (Rick), St. Paul, MN, 2 nephews and many cousins. Dick always found a way to put his interests to work. He purchased a butcher shop followed by a bowling alley. He had a gift as a salesperson. He moved to Branson, MO where he worked as a realtor for many years. In his spare time, Dick enjoyed working on the family farm in Waltham, MN. Dick passed away peacefully after a short illness on Jan. 8, 2017. Dick found his peace in Montreal, WI where he enjoyed being with his family, friends, the companionship of his dogs and the outdoors. A gathering of friends and family will be held at the Ketola-Burla Funeral Home in Ironwood on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 from 5-7 p.m. A Memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 13, 2017 at Nativity of the Lord Catholic Church, 1900 Wellesley Ave., St. Paul, MN. Range Funeral Service and Crematory, Ketola-Burla Funeral Home of Ironwood is assisting the family with arrangements.
