Obituary for Michael J. Oszakiewski
Michael "Mike" J. Oszakiewski, 37, of Ironwood, passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2024.
Mike was born on June 21, 1986, to Joseph and Krystina (Nowak) Oszakiewski. He was a 2004 graduate of Mercer High School. Mike enjoyed working the last 15 years at Snow Country Hardwoods in Hurley. He loved playing video games or watching movies, especially with his nephew, and going disc golfing. Mike was beloved by all his family and friends.
Mike is survived by his sister, Jessica (Doug) Mead of Ironwood; step-mother, Rudy Oszakiewski; step-sister, Trisha Smith; niece, Julieann Mead; nephew, Devon Mead and cousins, Gwendolynn Nelson and Jack and Joey Wilson. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Krystina, and grandparents, Joseph and Violet Oszakiewski.
A Celebration of Mike's life will be held on Saturday, March 23rd at Muskies Bar and Grill from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. in Mercer.
