Obituary for Mary Anne Hesse

Mary Anne Hesse, 74, of 412
N. Albany St., Ironwood, died Tuesday, June 14, 2011, in Ironwood.      The former Mary Anne Bertolini was born March
18, 1937, in Montreal, Wis., daughter of the late Serafino and Rose Marie
(Oddino) Bertolini, and graduated from J.E. Murphy High School in Hurley in
1955.      She married Donald P. Sejbl on July 20, 1956,
in Hurley. He preceded her in death on April 16, 1990.      She then married Bernard Hesse on Sept. 4,
1992, in Woodruff, Wis. He preceded her in death on May 5, 1997.      Mary Anne was employed as office manager for
Dr. Everett Sandell D.D.S. and Dr. Thomas Herfort D.D.S. at their respective
dental clinics for many years until her retirement in 1991.      She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church
in Hurley and the Auxiliary to Ironwood American Legion Post 5. She was also an
excellent seamstress and avid walker.      Surviving are four sons, Robert (Maj-Lis)
Sejbl, Ironwood, Michael (Sheryl) Sejbl, Hurley, James (Gina) Sejbl, Ironwood,
and Donald Sejbl (Mary Senicka), Auburndale, Wis.; 12 grandchildren, Kristine,
Pam, Michael, Molly, Mariah, James, Jennifer, Kristine, Keely, Mattea, Danika
and Donald; her special friend, Joe DeCarlo, Ironwood; two brothers, Serafino
(Helen) Bertolini, Lincoln, Neb., and Frank (Betty) Bertolini, Mt. Dora, Fla.; a
sister, Geraldine "Jeri" (Donald) Erspamer, Hurley; and numerous nieces and
nephews.      Besides her parents and husbands, she was
preceded in death by a sister, Rose Erspamer.      Out of respect for her wishes, cremation has taken place.      Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. on
Wednesday, June 22, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Hurley, where a Mass of
Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. by the Rev. Frank Kordek
O.F.M.      Rite of Committal will take place at the
church, with luncheon to follow in the parish hall.      Private inurnment will be in St. Mary's
