Marie Ellen Kessler, 89, of Mercer, WI, loving wife and mother, passed away on Monday, September 19th, 2022. Marie was born on March 31st, 1933, in Mercer, WI, to Mike and Narrie Babic. In 1952, she married Donald Kessler.

Together they raised five children, three daughters (Donna, Sandra, and Shirley) and two sons (Ronald and Roger). She had five grandchildren (Steven, Tori, Tanya, Tiffany, and Brandon).

Marie was an assembler at Simpson Electric for 37 years. She enjoyed crafting, daily visits with her sister, and camping with her children and grandchildren.

Marie was preceded in death by her brothers Mitch, Vanard, Norman, Jack, Marvin, Gilbert, and George Babic, as well as her sisters Clara Allen, Alice Watts, Eva Fosdick, Thelma Pemble, and Mamie Babic.

Survived by her husband (Donald), her five children Donna Chaney (Greg) - Wausau, WI, Sandra Breese (John) - Huntingdon, TN, and Shirley Kessler - Mercer, WI), and two sons: Ronald Kessler (Jeanne) - Wauwatosa, WI and Roger Kessler - Wausau, WI). She had five grandchildren (Steven Chaney (Erin) - Wausau, WI, Tori Sleight - Henderson, NV, Tanya Sweet (Brian) - Long Island, NY, Tiffany Burnett - Weston, WI, and Brandon Kessler - Arbor Vitae, WI).

She will be missed by all who loved her.

A private family service will take place next year.
