Obituary for Margaret M. "Marge" Kuklenski

Margaret M. "Marge"
Kuklenski, 89, of Ironwood, died Tuesday, July 13, 2010, in
Ironwood.      The former Margaret Hanisko was born July 11,
1921, in Ironwood, daughter of the late Louis and Mary (Prosek) Hanisko,
attended local schools, and graduated from Luther L. Wright High School in
1939.      She was employed as a waitress over the years
at Joe's Pasty Shop, the Totem Pole, Frankie & Johnnie's, and the Sport
Bowl, all in Ironwood, and Connie's Supper Club, the Liberty Bell Chalet, and
the Holiday Inn, all in Hurley. She also worked in housekeeping at the Armata
Motel and Hautamaki's Nursing Home in Ironwood, retiring from DiGiorgio's
Ironwood Laundromat on Cloverland Drive in Ironwood in 2005. She was a member of
Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church in Ironwood.      Marge's children and grandchildren were the
joy of her life. She was a kind and loving person and will be missed by all who
knew her.        She was married to Stanley B. "Archie"
Kuklenski in June, 1950. He preceded her in death on May 18, 1975.      Surviving are two sons, George (Mimi),
Ironwood Township, and Joe, Ladysmith, Wis.; a daughter, Jane Hart, Portage,
Ind.; four grandchildren, Kelly (Brian) Paul, Kokomo, Ind., Scott Kuklenski, 
Rhinelander, Wis., Jennifer Kuklenski, Minneapolis, and Amanda Hart, Tucson,
Ariz.; two great-grandchildren, Alex and Jenna Paul; a brother, George (Shirley)
Hanisko, Bessemer; sisters-in-law, Ramona Kuklinski, Ironwood, Monica Kuklinski,
Moorhead, Minn., Mary Kuklenski, Hatley, Wis., and JoAnn Kuklinski and Margaret
Kuklenski, both of Ironwood; and numerous nieces and nephews.      Besides her parents and husband, she was
preceded in death by four brothers, John, Julius, Joseph and Albert Hanisko;
and three  sisters, Sophie and Ann Smaltz, and Mary Drover.      At the family's request, cremation has taken
place.      A memorial service will be held Friday, July
16, at 2 p.m., at the McKevitt-Patrick Funeral Home, 305 N. Lowell St., in
Ironwood, with the Rev. Monsignor Jed Patrick officiating. Rite of Committal
will follow.      Private inurnment will be in Riverside
Cemetery, Ironwood.      Relatives and friends may call at the funeral
