Obituary for Lynda K. Henning

Lynda K. Henning, 65, of
Kimball, Wis., died Monday, Sept. 12th, 2011, in Ironwood, surrounded by her
loving family.      The former Lynda Eilo was born Oct. 25, 1945,
in Iron Belt, Wis., daughter of the late Sulo and Pearl (Peterson) Eilo, and
attended school there.      She married Michael P. Henning on Sept. 30,
1961, in Iron Belt. They lived in Ft. Lewis, Wash. for one year while Mike was
in the service, and came to Kimball. They then
resided in Woodstock, ll. where Lynda was employed at an electronics plant, and
returned to Kimball. Lynda worked at Munsingwear in Ashland, Wis., as a cook and
waitress at C&L in Ironwood, and most recently as bookkeeper for Henning
Trucking.      Lynda raised horses, was an avid gardener and
bird lover, and enjoyed crafts. An extremely unselfish person, she was always
thinking of others. She dearly loved her family and grandchildren.      Surviving are her husband, Michael, of 49
years; two sons, Paul (Karen), Montreal, Wis., and Michael, Kimball; four
daughters, Lisa (Dean) Waldros, Kimball, Cindy (Ken) Waldros, Saxon, and Teresa
(Taz) Ahles and Crystal (Matt) Schutz, both of Kimball; grandchildren,
Michael lll, Kaycey, Kodey, Ashley, Lynda, Amanda, Shawn, Clayton, Sami and
Taylor; great-granddaughter, Wysteria; three step-grandchildren; two brothers,
Robert (Carol) Eilo, South Carey, Hurley, and Wendell (Barbara) Eilo, Kimball; a
sister, Dorothy (Joe) Apolinar, San Antonio, Tx.; brothers-and-sisters-in-law,
Don Laessig, Wakefield, Gene and Barbara Henning, Ironwood, Carol and John
Brinnington, Kimball, and Shirley Tratechaud, Superior, Wis.; numerous nieces
and nephews; and special friend, Pat Lentner, Escondido, Calif.      Besides her parents, she was preceded in death
by a brother, Ted Eilo; and two sisters, Beverly Drier and Dolly
Laessig.      As per Lynda's wishes, cremation has taken
place.      Memorial services will be held Saturday, Sept.
17, at 11 a.m., preceded by visitation at 10 a.m., at the McKevitt-Patrick
Funeral Home, 305 N. Lowell St., in Ironwood, with the Rev. Don Nickolson
officiating.      A recepton will follow at Taz and T.C.'s Bear
