Lauren M. Koski, 72, of Twin Lakes, WI, formerly of Hurley, WI, died Monday, November 2, 2016 at Geneva Lake Manor Nursing Home in Lake Geneva. Lauren Mathew Koski was born in Ironwood, MI on May 25, 1944 the son of the late Toivo and Lydia (Marchetti) Koski. He graduated from J. E. Murphy High School in Hurley, WI in 1962. On April 18, 1987, in Salem, WI, he was united in marriage to the former Barbara Lovance. Lauren was a member of the Italian American Club in Kenosha, WI, he was an avid snowmobiler and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He had a great love of the Wisconsin Badgers and the Green Bay Packers. Lauren is survived by: Barbara, his wife of 29 years, 3 children; Anthony Koski of Twin Lakes, WI, Christine (Richard) Koehn of Burlington, WI and Katrina Koski of Crandon, WI, 2 grandchildren; Lara (Michael) McDonald and Lydia (John) Silvester, and an honorary granddaughter Lily Sparks, 2 great-grandchildren; Emileigh and Isabella McDonald, a sister Kaye (Gene) Thompson of Superior, WI, 3 nieces; Denise (Ed) Gillmore, Terri Lynn Thompson and Elizabeth (Rachel Carlson) Lovance and 3 nephews; Jeff (Theresa) Thompson, Charley Thompson and Mich Lovance. He was preceded in death by a sister Carole Zarimba. A Celebration of Lauren''s life will be held on Saturday, November 12 at the Ketola Burla Funeral Home, 635 E. Ayer, Ironwood, Mi. The family will greet guests from 1-2 PM with the service beginning at 2 PM. Interment will follow at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, Highway 51, Hurley, WI.
