Kim Marie (Hackett) Butkiewicz, 54 of Bessemer, Michigan, died Saturday, April 15, 2017 at the University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison. She was born September 21, 1962 in Redondo Beach, Calif, the daughter of the late Patricia Jones. Kim attended school in California. She was a hard worker who held a wide variety of jobs throughout her life. She worked as a model, a professional roller skater and even was an extra in a few movies while living in California. She later worked in various positions in the manufacturing industry. Kim was a free spirited woman who enjoyed playing blackjack and cribbage, and garage sales. She also enjoyed music and watching game shows. Kim was a true believer in God and Jesus Christ. She is survived by her three children, Tia Hackett of Citrus Heights, California, Danny Butkiewicz and Athena Butkiewicz, both of Montreal; two grandchildren, Brianna Klima and Eric Richardson; her significant other, John Zielinski of Bessemer; and her two brothers, Dale Jones of Grand Rapids, Michigan, and Rick Jones of Trufant, MI. Kim was preceded in death by her mother, Patricia Jones. In honor of Kim''s wishes, no services will be held at this time.
