Ironwood, Mich.--Kathleen E (nee Egan) Weickert,74 of Ironwood, MI (formerly of Plymouth, MN), passed away on January 20, 2019. Kathleen was born December 21, 1944 to Costney and Loretta (Sullivan) Egan in Minneapolis, Minn. Survived by her children; Mark Wolf (Mary Ellen), Joseph Weickert Jr. (Sheila), John Weickert, and Jennifer Hubbell (Bill); grandchildren, Nichole Bevis (Corry), Jessica Richards (Joe), Joseph H. Weickert, Madalyn Baker, Desiree Wolf, Mark Wolf Jr., Lacey Wolf, and Holden Baker; great-grandchildren, Domanick, Liyahna, Payton, Tyhler, Raegan, and Wyatt; siblings, Maureen Ludwig (Ron) Costney Egan (Ann), William Egan (Gail), Michael Egan, and John Egan (Paula), and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Weickert Sr; parents, Costney & Loretta Egan; in-laws, Arthur and Mildred Weickert; siblings, Patrick, Peter, Colleen, Susan, Patty, Michelle; sister-in-law, Rita; nieces and nephews, Rita Jo, Lisa, Ashley, Chip, and Travis. Kathleen worked for years at Merwin Drug in Robbinsdale. She was the oldest of 12 siblings, and her great passions in life were her children, grandchildren, and extended family and friends. She loved to lay out in the sun, read, bake, make pickles, crochet, and shopping! Help us celebrate the life of Kathleen at Holy Name Church, 155 County Road 24 Wayzata, MN. February 1 st 2019.
