Obituary

June H. Luoma, 83, of Erwin Township, passed away on March 25, 2020, in Ironwood, Michigan.

She was born on June 22, 1936, daughter of Donald and Martha (Kuitunen) Hakala.

June married Marvin C. Luoma on February 13, 1954 at Zion Lutheran Church in Ironwood, and they were married for 52 years. He preceded her in death on January 1, 2007.

She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Ironwood.

June was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and her family meant everything to her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Martha Hakala and her husband, Marvin.

June is survived by sons, Daniel (Jody) Luoma of Ironwood, David (Kari) Luoma of Kronenwetter, Wisconsin, and James Luoma of Washington; daughter, Donna (Paul) Heikkila of Ironwood; grandchildren, Nathan Luoma of Bessemer, Jordan Luoma (Hailey) of Ironwood, Larissa Luoma of Ironwood, Leah (Jesse) Salcido of Stanley, Wisconsin, Kirk (Kristen) Luoma of Little Suamico, Wisconsin, Ciara Luoma of Kronenwetter, Wisconsin, Sean (Kelly) Luoma of Wausau, Wisconsin, Rebecca (Brandon) Holm of Montreal, Wisconsin, Melissa (Jay) Oja of Hurley, Melissa (Cory) Parsons of Yakima, Washington, Becky (Ryan) Blazier of Crystal Falls, Neil (Melinda) Hubert of Peoria, Illinois, Heather (Jon) Gervais of Wakefield, Erin (Ben) Oja of Ironwood and Nicholas Heikkila of Ramsay; and great-grandchildren, Bentley, Jaxson, Abigail, Amelia, Audrey June, Theodore, Gage, Sidney, Riley, Bennett, October, Snow, Maven, Cody, Nina, Bailey, Tommy, Courtney, Jonny, Kailey, Tyler, Jazlynn, Evan and Easton.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
