Obituary for Inez E. Sisko

Inez E. Sisko, 89, of 515 E.
Vaughn St., Ironwood, died Saturday, Aug. 14, 2010, in
Ironwood.      The former Inez Estola was born March 28,
1921, in Ironwood, daughter of the late William and Ada (Kivi) Estola. She
attended Central School for the Deaf in Ironwood and the School for the Deaf in
Flint.      Inez was a member of Good Shepard Community
Apostolic Lutheran Church in Kimball, Wis., and volunteered at the Christian
Hour House in Ironwood. She enjoyed crocheting and loved being with children,
her church, friends and family.      On June 26, 1943, she married Michael Sisko in
Ironwood. He preceded her in death on July 12, 1980.      Surviving are two brothers, Reino (Doris)
Estola, Ironwood Township, and Donald Estola, Petaluma, Calif.; three sisters,
Helen Carr, Ironwood, Ada (Jack) Hurula, Jackson, and Judith King, Petaluma; and
numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.      Besides her parents and husband, Inez was
preceded in death by three brothers, Arne Estola in infancy, and Walter and
Elmer Estola; and four sisters, Mildred Estola in childhood, Irene Komac, Aune
Wieland and Vienna Aili.      Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Aug.
18, at 11 a.m., at Good Shepard Community Apostolic Lutheran Church in Kimball,
with Pastors Norman Kangas and Steve Estola co-officiating.      Committal and interment will follow in
Riverside Cemetery, Ironwood.      Luncheon will be served in the church
fellowship hall immediately following the funeral service.      Relatives and friends may call at the church
one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.      Pallbearers will be Brenda Aili-Angus, Teri
Zanella, Don Gertz, Jim Sisko, John Allen and Randy Carr.      Memorial contributions may be made to Good
