Dennis C. Erickson, 49, of
Park Falls, and a native of Ironwood, Mich., died unexpectedly Thursday, May,
20, 2010, at his home.      He was born Aug. 28, 1960, in Ironwood, son of
Florence (Revers) and the late Carl A. Erickson, attended A.L. Norrie Grade
School, and graduated from L.L. Wright High School in 1978. He then received
associate of arts degrees in civil engineer technology and mechanical drafting
and design from Gogebic Community College.      Dennis was employed with C.J. Bretting Mfg. in
Ashland, Northern Technical Service in Appleton, International Air Products and
Fraser Paper Corp., both in Park Falls, and Dynamic Fan Corp. in Phillips at the
time of his death. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and scuba diving, and
spending time with his dad. He was a member of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church
in Ironwood.      Surviving are his mother, Florence Erickson,
of Ironwood; two brothers, Allan (Cathy), Woodbridge, Va. and Brian (Virginia),
Hudson; uncles and aunts, Donald and Mary Revers, Melbourne, Fla., Norris and
Judy Erickson, Port Washington, and Kay Erickson, Milwaukee; nieces and nephews,
Elizabeth, Michael, Steven, Victoria and Andrew Erickson; and special friends,
Joe Nemec, Racine, and John Sullivan, Wausau.      A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated
Tuesday, May 25, at noon, at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church in Ironwood, with
the Rev. Darryl Pepin, celebrant.      Rite of Committal will follow in the St.
Joseph Family Room at the church.      Private interment will be in Riverside
Cemetery, Ironwood.      Relatives and friends may call in the St.
Joseph Family Room at the church from 11 a.m. until noon on
Tuesday.      In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may
be made to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart
