to the Palomaki family, I was so sadden by the death of Eric. I was in shock to hear the news. He was a great cousin and I will miss him dearly. Growing up was a fun time for me. I remember all the great times we had together. His laughter would fill the room as you entered it. He remindes me so much of his dad. God Bless You all especially Vieno,Sue,Wayne and Verna. You will always be in my thoughts and prayers.

We will miss Eric very much. His sudden passing was a definite shock and left too much undone and many words unsaid. The "shop" will be an empty place from now on,but Eric's memory will remain forever. Condolences to Vieno,Wayne,Sue and Verna and their families, and most of all to my chereished Sandy.

I'm very sorry to here the sad news. Eric & I grew up knowing each other. We both got confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church and went through high school together. After high scool Eric and I and another friend went to DeVry in Chicago. Yes, college was a lot of fun back then and we had a lot of laughs together. He was always nice to me and others and I'll never forget the good times we had. He was fun to be with and a good friend. I'll miss him!

My deepest sympathy to all his extended family. I have so many memories growing up with Eric from Sunday School and confirmation to high school and band.

After posting his death on facebook, many '76 classmates have expressed their sympathy with memories "good times in shop class", "always so nice" and "fun loving guy" and of course "trombone section always bugging the trumpets in front of them". He will be missed - God Bless!
